If you’d like to discuss a bespoke glass art for your home, garden or office, an award or a commemorative plaque please get in touch. We will be happy to discuss any project ideas you may have. The possibilities are endless. We can design glass art for you to be used as decorative wall panels, interior or garden sculptures, kitchen and bathroom splashbacks, tiles and tableware.

We start by discussing your requirements for the commission.  You can get in touch with us by phone, e-mail or visit our studio. Go to the Gorska contact page for details. We will discuss specifics including colours, designs, size and time scale. We can go through images, swatches and colour samples you might have.

If you are based locally we will be happy to offer a home visit for larger pieces e.g. splashbacks or installations to check dimensions and discuss requirements.

We price each individual project according to size, colour and design. We will design a few options for you to choose from along with the associated cost. We can send you coloured glass samples we believe will work in your space along with a design sketch, if necessary.

If you like a particular design you’ve seen on this website or at the gallery but you would prefer it in different colours it is usually no problem.

Once you selected your preferred design and you are happy with everything we have discussed and all relevant information has been confirmed we can place an order. We would quote you a final price, if any alterations to the initial design were required, and time scale for completion of the commission. At this stage we require a deposit of a non-refundable 50% to confirm the order and reserve the allocated deadline with the balance payable on collection/delivery.

We accept all the major debit and credit card payments over the phone or you can pay by BACS transfer.

Depending on workload and size of your commission we usually require 4-6 weeks from the order to delivery but if you need us to adhere to a specific deadline sooner than this we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Ewa Gorska, the Glass Artist, will work on your commission in our glass studio in Reeth. This may involve several firings over a period of time and possibly cutting, grinding and polishing. Additional work required e.g. fitting specialized fixings will be done at this time.

Once your bespoke piece is finished and ready for collection or delivery we will contact you to make arrangements. Work can either be collected from the studio and the balance paid on collection or work can be sent via courier (by prior arrangement) and the balance would be due prior to dispatching the work.

We can also deliver your glass art to any address worldwide. Cost is calculated on the basis of size and weight (or volumetric) using specialised courier service. We will provide you with a cost for delivery on your quotation.

Our glass art panels are straight forward to install with just a basic knowledge of DIY. Wall panels come with a range of either edge-grip or hidden fixtures and we’ll advise you on which is most suited to your work when you commission. The fixtures also come in a range of finishes including matt and polished and also a choice of either aluminium or stainless steel. We’ll provide full instructions on mounting your glass.

However, if required, we offer a complete installation service throughout the UK and we will provide you with an individual cost for a delivery/installation during our initial discussion. Please note our in house delivery and installation service is available on weekends only.

Please note we cannot accept responsibility in case a panel was installed not according to our guidelines or in case a wall or other supporting structure was not sufficiently sound to carry the weight of the panel.
